The Clamdaddys

Performing Saturday, August 16th on the Show Wagon at 3:45-4:45pm

The Clamdaddys started playing about eight maybe nine years ago as a duo, then became a trio and then a four piece, nowadays at times they may be seen as a nine piece.  The Clam Daddys started using the rotating bass player plan about five years ago.  It's based on the theory that everybody has their own song, the bass being the most pronounced instrument in a four piece, if you change the bass player, you change the song.

The ClamDaddys are a devilish duo that offers audiences a selection of humor.  They have a repertoire of well over 100 songs, ranging from country blues to swing to jazz.

Thom Knox, aka Pinebox, displays a diveristy of styles on the harmonica.  He is a radically amusing storyteller and has entertained not only his parents with these but many audiences across the country.

Moses Walker sings in a unique gravely voice reminiscent of Howlin’ Wolf and provides a rhythmic backdrop of guitar.  He is a fine solo performer and has traveled extensively throughout the U.S.

Collectively these characters have over 25 years of musical background.  They are true students of the blues whose performances culminate a compendium of American music.
