Welcome to WheatRidgeCarnationFestival.org |
40th Annual Carnation Festival a Success
The Carnation Festival began in 1970 to honor the first year of the City’s creation. Forty
years later we are still going strong and celebrating our community in style with both
the 40th birthday of the city of Wheat Ridge and the Carnation Festival in Anderson
Park.
We had a great turnout with two nights of fireworks, three stages of live music and
entertainment, the police department vs. senior softball game, teen night, great food, a
beer garden, crafts, art show, classic car show, carnival rides for all ages and the carnation
parade. Thanks to all who participated and see you next year!

Mission:
The Carnation Festival Committee is a broad based and diverse effort to showcase a ‘Wheat Ridge-specific’ community celebration of the uniqueness and the best that our city & its residents have to offer. It will also facilitate the coming together in a fun & informative and sometimes competitive way of neighbors and neighborhoods as well community leaders (business, government, social, education) to help instill a greater sense of community pride and identity.
In addition, the Carnation Festival Committee through financially successful events will annually fund deserving projects & individuals that enhance life in the city of Wheat Ridge.
